New Mexico Orthopaedics Opens New Physical Therapy Location

As part of an ongoing commitment to offer patients comprehensive and convenient orthopaedic care, New Mexico Orthopaedics has opened a new center for physical therapy in Uptown Albuquerque.

On October 3, 2016 a team of five highly trained therapists will open the new NMOA location in Uptown Albuquerque at 1700 Louisiana Blvd. Two Physical Therapists, one PT – Assistant and two technicians will be available for patients Monday through Friday.

The new Uptown PT clinic is the fifth New Mexico Orthopaedic location in the greater Albuquerque area – four of these provide physical therapy. According to group president Jeffrey Racca, M.D. “We now have four quadrants of the Albuquerque area covered; Downtown, Uptown, NE Heights Paseo del Norte and the West Side. The new Uptown location is part of our plan to meet patients where they are, with the services they need to treat all of their orthopaedic concerns within one medical practice.”

NMOA has been serving patients for over 30 years with highly trained orthopaedic, sports medicine and spine care physicians, working together in the  state’s only medical practice that offers diagnosis, treatment, surgery and rehabilitation within one group.

Uptown Physical Therapy Team members include:

  • Sandra Knudsen – Physical Therapist
  • Leann Bullock – Physical Therapist
  • Daniel Pena – Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Brandon Casados – Physical Therapist Tech
  • Ethan Chideckel – Physical Therapist Tech
