Kory Landers, DPT

Kory’s interest in Physical Therapy started in high school, where a sports medicine class sparked his passion for helping people recover after injuries. At Marquette, Kory completed several strength and conditioning internships where he worked with athletes of all ages and abilities, helping them achieve their functional and performance goals.  Spending part of Physical Therapy school recovering from Achilles surgery, Kory was able to experience recovery from both the patient’s and clinician’s perspectives. He believes in treating the patient as a whole, not just their injury and diagnosis. He makes sure that the patient plays a role and has a voice in their recovery. Kory works closely with the patient to create goals and a plan to return to the activities they love and regain their independence. Kory educates the patient on their injury and the reasoning behind their recovery and rehabilitation, giving them the tools and knowledge to continue staying active and reducing the risk of future injury.

Kory enjoys staying active by playing basketball, golf, working out, and hiking. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and keeping up with the San Antonio Spurs and Marquette Basketball.
