Dr. Benson is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and is fellowship-trained in shoulder, elbow and hand surgery. He believes that patient-surgeon communication is critical to successful outcomes, and he considers it an honor to care for patients whose lives are disrupted by pain or injury. Having treated patients for over a decade at New Mexico’s Level 1 trauma center, Dr. Benson also treats simple and complex fractures of the upper and lower extremities.
