Elizabeth Jaramillo, DPT
Elizabeth works at the NMOA NE Heights physical therapy clinic where she enjoys working with people of all ages to promote, restore and optimize physical function in order to allow patients to lead the lives they desire.
Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico Elizabeth was a former jazz and hip hop dancer until she suffered multiple injuries which lead her to her interest and passion for physical therapy. She values the ability to work closely with physicians to tailor treatment to the individual’s personal needs and goals.
Elizabeth has a special interest in helping young athletes return to sports, as well as working with older adults to promote the highest quality of life. She believes that through individualized evidence-based plans, including exercise, manual techniques and education; every patient possesses the tools to recover from almost any injury.
When she is not working to help her patients, she enjoys eating spicy foods, Zumba, spending time with her family, close friends and her English bulldog, Frederick, all the while living life to the fullest.
